Every World of Warcraft player has at least one secret spot where they make their game money. Of course, not many like to share the information concerning their best spots or methods to farm in this game, because, who would want competition? I'm not quite like that, so I'm going to tell you where to farm gold in WoW using one particular method that fits to any class.
Since I like fishing in real life as well, I have always considered fishing in World of Warcraft my primary gold earning method. But, where to farm gold with fishing, you ask?
There are many places where you can find expensive fish. Especially now that you don't need the fishing skill capped to be able to catch high level fish. With level 1 fishing skill, you need to throw your fishing line in a school of fish to actually catch fish, otherwise you will end up with grey junk. But hey, everyone can do that.
My number one fishing spot is in Eastern Plaguelands. Almost everywhere in that zone you can catch Sunscale Salmon and Nighrtfin Snapper. For some reason, these fish sell for about 80-90g per stack on my server. Maybe because players that are boosting their cooking don't want to get the fish themselves. There's "a catch" though about these fish. Since there aren't any fish schools, you need about 250 fishing skill to minimize the catch of junk items. Also, bring a few Aquadynamic Fish Attractors with you. If you don't find any at the Auction House, ask an engineer to craft a few for you
Another good place to fish is in Grizzly Hills. The waters of this area are rich in Glacial Salmon, a fish needed for high level raiding foods. It's a good idea to fish here because you can also catch the awesome Sea Turtle mount. That's a very cool looking mount and it's BoP so you can't obtain it other way than fishing it yourself. I got mine on the lake in the middle northern part of Grizzly Hills.
Of course, many people hate fishing because they consider it a very boring activity. Anyway, there are hundreds of other ways to make decent gold in WoW, and hundreds of places where to farm gold. Since the possibilities are so many, wouldn't you consider learning about more methods and places to farm gold?
